Sony has just released, "Metal: The Ultimate Construction Kit" into their Acid Loops collection. All the elements of this package are a result of the hard work of the crew at DCM Studios! The package includes a full library of audio loops with a variety of mix options for endless possibilities, a 20 page booklet interviewing everyone involved with the project, as well as a how-to video full of tips and techniques on recording heavy metal.

The project was engineered by Brandon Cherrington, assisted by Deep Cove Music manager Jeff Elston, and produced by both Tim Runzer and Tyler Pearson. For the authentic feel the package features the artistic flavors of the diversely talented Chris Warunki (currently showing off another of his talents on tour with former Canadian Idol runner-up, Jaydee Bixby) on drums, Dave Young (The Devin Townsend Band and Ten Ways From Sunday, Terror Syndrome) on guitar, Mike Young (The Devin Townsend Band, Ten Ways From Sunday, Terror Syndrome, and Jet Black Stare) on bass, and Denton Bramley (Terror Syndrome) on vocals. The result of all these talents collaborating is an immaculately seamless product.

DCM Studios is as busy as ever!

In audio production we’re putting the finishing touches on a full length blues/roots album, as well as a country EP which we’ve taken through every step of the production. We’ve also been busy writing songs, and getting ready for our next projects we have lined up with some great up and comers. Recently we had Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman in the studio working with his wife on her first recordings, as well as Dave Thompson previously of High Holy Days who was working with Michelle Carter-Leis.

We recently finished a website for North Vancouver Metal Sculpture Artist Mark Mentiply and his company “Go West Metal Art,” and are in the process of starting work on three more websites! Check out Go West Metal Art.com

Along with Go West, we’ve also just finished a website for Yacht World TV which comes in association with our latest video production project. Yacht World TV is a television series that follows the world of the yachting lifestyle and all the pros, cons, toys and boats associated with it.
